The Sports Centre is a vibrant and welcoming facility situated on the campus of Stanchester Community School.

The Sports Centre provides sports facilities and courses for the local area. Facilities comprise four badminton courts two squash courts, floodlit hard courts for tennis, netball, football etc, meeting/activity room and an air conditioned fitness suite.

The fully equipped fitness suite boasts a range of state of the art equipment and uses Fitlinxx technology – to help you monitor your training and progression.

We offer a range of junior activity courses for children of all ages and abilities. Activities include: Trampolining, Athletics, Badminton, Football and Street dance.

Our Active Kidz holiday Programme runs every school holiday and is ideal for parents looking for fun activities to entertain the children. Children can enjoy a range of different activities including arts, crafts, games, dance, sport, inflatable play and much, much more. The Sports Centre is Ofsted registered and the staff are CRB checked.

The centre has free parking and Disability Access.

The Sports Pavillion

The Sports Pavillion, Stoke sub Hamdon

With the full support of the Duchy of Cornwall, the District and Parish Councils and the Sports and Recreation Trust provided the sports pavillion and football pitch which is situated in the Sports and Recreation Field off West Street.

The Pavillion is the home of Stoke Senior and Stoke Youth Football Clubs and Stoke Cricket Club.

The Sports and Recreation Trust provided the young people of the village with a BMX track and a skateboard park which is situated in the Sports and Recreation Field.
