The Memorial Hall is 6 miles from Yeovil and only ½ mile from the A303. It is located in the centre of a Ham stone village and has its own car park.
The Hall is available for hire for all types of events and functions, daytimes and evenings, and is licensed for live & recorded music and dancing till midnight.
It is a perfect venue for wedding receptions, anniversary and birthday parties, fund raising events from jumble sales to fashion shows, keep-fit classes and band concerts.
The hall is large and airy and set in its own large grassed grounds. There is a a well-equipped children’s play area with picnic seating and a basketball hoop, making it an ideal venue for children’s parties. There is also a Boules Court which is open to all. If you don’t have your own boules, these can be borrowed from the Charity Shop for a refundable deposit of £10, with a copy of the rules!
The hall is licenced for 200 seated and 110 if seated at tables and for dancing. It has a well equipped kitchen, good disabled access with disabled toilet and kitchen facilities. The curtained stage has rear access and a toilet and the hall has a Loop and PA system so drama, music and other productions can be performed. There is also car parking for up to 34 cars and 2 disabled bays.
To Hire the Hall
Hall hire charges are available on application. There is a coin-operated meter in the kitchen but apart from this there are no extra charges levied for use of any other facilities or equipment. Click here to view or download the full Terms and Conditions in pdf format.

Details of regular hall activities, such as Tai Chi, bowles, gardening club, exercise classes and the Village Artists are posted on the Parish Council notice board outside the Memorial Hall and on the hall notice board.
